First I created the basic vector element using some other vector software. I sometimes find Flash graphic tools very inconvenient, particularly when IΓÇÖm working with complex vector elements, something that I hope is going to improve with later Flash releases. I saved the vector element in .ai (Adobe Illustrator) format and imported it into Flash. To do this, create a new symbol (Insert>New Symbol>Graphic). Then, from the File menu choose Import.
